Our client is a benchmark company in its sector, nationally and internationally, and a leader in value-added technological solutions. They have over 45.000 employees in over 45 different countries. For their SW Delivery Center on the Costa del Sol, STANDBY is looking for a Lead Solution Architect.
Main Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for the business, solution and infrastructure architecture within the unit. Within the EA community the Lead Architect represents his unit and ensures that strategy, roadmap and needs of the Unit are considered accordingly when joint decisions on Enterprise Architecture are taken. Within the Unit, the Lead Architect represents the Enterprise Architects and is responsible that EAM is considered accordingly in the Unit strategy, roadmap and operations
+ The Lead Architect is the architectural ambassador for the Unit and Enterprise Architecture at the same time
+ Ambassador for Solution & Enterprise Architecture in the Unit
+ Communicate decisions and news from Solution & Enterprise Architecture and the EA community into the Unit
+ Guide the Demand Managers within the Unit in order to help them consolidating demands globally and delivering the required architectural content for the Quality Gates in Ideate and Plan
+ Train an enable all people in the Unit in working with EA artifacts and tools like Business Capability Maps
+ Keep track of the most important initiatives from other units and initiate global alignments
+ Representative of Unit architecture (business, IT solution and infrastructure) within the EA community
+ Core EA community Member
+ Builds and integrates information systems to meet the Unit needs
Requirements:
+ Degree in Information Systems or a comparable field
+ Min. 5 years of experience in IT Solution Architecture management in a matrix organization in an industrial or commercial enterprise or an IT service provider
+ Proven record of managing IT projects and change management knowledge (project management certification desirable)
+ Significant experience in the development of business applications
+ International willingness to travel
+ Excellent English communication skills are required (German or French is a plus)
+ Excellence knowledge of its application scope in relation to the business
+ Knowledge in development and implementation of Information Technology projects
+ Leadership to guide other Architects
+ Design and development of ITIL based processes towards agile methods
+ Mastering budgetary tools for monitoring solutions
+ Dynamic, optimistic, motivating character
+ Collaborative working model
+ Being able to work in an international context
+ Decisive in vague situations
+ Global thinking
